Tips and recommendations for smooth travel:
- Arrive at the airport well in advance of your flight to check in your luggage.
- Remove the labels from previous flights and mark your luggage with the identification sticker. Remember to put your full personal details. You can request it at the check-in line.
- Check that the number of passwords corresponds to the number of bags delivered and keep them until they are requested at your destination.
- Make sure that the baggage tag matches the password that was given to you with your passport. Remember to keep it with you at all times.
- If you are unable to locate your luggage on arrival, you must notify a baggage handler before leaving the airport. They will explain the procedure for the delivery of your belongings. You can also use our luggage tracker.
- If you are travelling on a connecting flight, remember that your baggage will be checked through to your final destination only if all flights are part of a single ticket and contract of carriage. Otherwise, when you transfer, you must collect your baggage and check it in again for the next flight.
- At airports where possible, and if permitted by the authority, baggage documentation will be accepted up to 4 hours prior to departure. If permitted by customs regulations, baggage is checked through to the final destination.
- For international flights at the connection point (especially in the United States), you will have to collect your baggage, go through customs and hand it back to the airline.
- Remember that the airline does not have custody of the baggage during the entire journey. For this reason, the authorities of the countries/cities of origin and destination may carry out inspections. This process may cause delays in the delivery of the baggage.
